Comparison Between Cable and Scissor Lift Window Regulator

Hi,

I'm Azri. Can someone give me the comparison between cable type power window regulator and scissor lift power window regulator? Advantage and disadvantage? cost, performance and etc.

I doubt that anyone here will take the time to respond to such a request for a detailed evaluation and comparison for you. Especially since you offer no reason for such a request. You might try an automotive forum, or visit a vocational school and ask their mechanical students for a knowledge infusion.

You might also search for your answer.

Not for very precise report. Don't need figure or chart. Just want to know the different like which one is costly, better perfom etc. For your information i'm doing project on scissor lift power window regulator design.

I didn't know they had power windows on scissor lifts.

From my research, scissor model is very popular until 80' something.

the power needed to open the scissor arms is considerable compared to the power required to lift the window. this would be my last choise.
