Slip Over CT

What is Slip Over CT,How it is different from other normal CTs constructionally & working wise.Im working in Hydro project in which we have ordered Slip Over Cts (PS Class)

I think Slip Over CTs are the more common type. They are like a solid doughnut that must be slipped over the end of a conductor.

Split Core CTs come in two or more parts that can be assembled around a conductor without disturbing its connections. (Like an amp-clamp meter, for instance.) I don't know if this type is available in the PS class.
