SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR

In a dc motor current taken from source depends on load....what does the current in a synchronous motor depends on?please give a detailed explanation...

The answer is clearly written in chapter 6 of the text book. Open up the book and read. Don't forget that your amortisseur or damper windings will both stabilize your motor operation, but it will also alter your voltage to current vector transfer function.
