Do you know any soft material used in aviation which is transparent, fireproof in accordance with FAR25.583 and having low thermally conductivity?

There is very few if any products out there that are completely "fireproof". Everything has a point where heat and flames will change the original state of the material. It largely depends on the amount of time require to safely extract one's self out of harms way. The FAR's are written in such a manner as to suggest those time frames etc. Such as the requirement for engine compartment to cabin fire resistant bulk heads.

More information would be needed as to what the end use was. This could help in answering your question.

I need to correct the related FAR paragraph. It should be FAR25.853 (Part 1 of Appendix F). To be used as a part of a curtain between cabin and ramp door.
