Pressure Transmitter for Cylinder With Grease Medium

Dear all,

I am working in Steel plant Rolling mill which produce Flat steel plates.

we are revamping our 4-Hi roughing mill including HAGC(Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control).

It is called the SERMES Hydraulic System. In which there is Pressure Transmitter connected to Grease Cylinder(attached to Hydraulic Cylinder) to measure the Roll force and grease pressure is about to 500bar.

Can anyone please suggest the Pressure Transmitter(Any make) for Grease medium with min range of 600bar.

Please do the needful job for me.

I wanna pressure Transmitter which is applicable Grease medium.

My technical Partner ABB request the Hydac Electronic Pressure Transmitter HDA4400 with flush membrane.

I go through the Catalog in which pressure transfer fluid shows the Silicon free oil?

Please suggest me the sensor which is suitable for my application?

The connection part(Wetted Parts) made of Stainless steel.

Putting grease/stainless steel into this gives a result of excellent compatibility.

Then the application needs to be better defined. So far, the selection is 0-600Barg with stainless steel wetted parts. Any number of transmitters fit that description.

What is it: wall mounted? Pipe mounted? Process connection? Display head? Transmission method and connection? Cable glanding? Hazardous area compatible? Etc., etc.

Wika has transmitter with a flush diaphragm with straight threads and O-ring seal. An adapter fitting (G1/2B) is welded to the process pipe and the transmitter is threaded into the adapter.

Rosemount, Fuji, Yokogawa, Endress & Hauser are well-known brands. Internet search can offer you many others, but you might find one of the above in Mumbai...

You need a 0-100bar transmitter, with a diaphragm-seal rated to 100bar connected between the grease and the transmitter. Fill this with silicon oil on the transmitter side of the diaphragm, being careful to bleed out all the air before connecting to your process.
