Incomer Rating of a Small Retail Shop

10/27/2011 8:45 AM

Please can any one help me on this.

On my calculation of a small retail shop the load is found to be 10kW and another for 20kW.

What will be the rating of the isolator to be provided for both the cases. is 63A(3ph) ok for both. On future the retail shop will install DB and will have lighting and power circuit of 10A, 16A and max 32A.

Can any one please share your expereince of this isolator rating in both the cases considering descrimination

Thanks

You really should have paid attention in class.

Or, maybe you should become an apprentice and study under an electrician with some experience, before striking out on your own.

Contact your utility and ask them to give a list of standard supply ratings normally given by them like-1 ph-15A,30A,60A,3ph-30A,60A,100A,160A,11kV-100kVa,160kVa and so on and select the one which meets your demand. Or give them a load schedule of your premises and ask them to provide a suitable supply based on acceptable diversity and load factors.
