Neutral Grounding Disconnect Switch

If a gen set is synchronized parallel with utility and its neutral grounding switch fail to disconnect, what are the possible risk to the generator and the one who is operating the generator ?

I didn't understant the answer at my last post. I thought my question was not clear, that why decided to ask again. I still need your help.Before, the neutral grounding disconnect switch was working automatic. when the generator synchronized with national grid ( another source of power) it used to open and share the national grid ground and when there is no any source of power it close and make the ground. But now the switch has closed permanently whether generator runs with or without national grid( utility voltage) . Are you advise me to continue with operation ?
