- what is - ' no conductor smaller than 32 / 0.2 mm (1 mm2) shall be used for interconnecting cabling' - what does this 32 / 0.2 mm (1 mm2)represent? Here, we are talking about communication cable.
i want to quote the following excerpt from the manual !!
"No conductor smaller than 32/0.2 mm (1 mm2), or having less than
three strands shall be used for interconnecting cabling except in the case of
telephone extensions."
I don't know where they got 1 mm2, and I'm pretty sure they don't know, either. Literature sometimes contains mistakes, so it is good to know some basic calculations for the purpose of double-checking.
