I Need a Wiring Diagram Baldor 1.5 hp Motor

AC 115-230 single phaze. need diagram to reverse motor. TEFC Frame # 184Z 1.5hp 1725 rpm.

Catalog # not listed but 184 frame # matches Catalog # L3603

Try taking off the junction box cover on the motor. Often they have the wiring diagram printed on the back side. It may be as simple as exchanging wires 5 and 8 (or something like that).

Hi Jim, single phase motors only come in one direction only, during manufacturing. (ccw or cw) You cannot change direction with the use of wiring. You can change direction by pulling the rotor and installing in opposite or trade it in for a new motor.

I took a new Baldor 1hp out of the box removed the cover to reverse it and the winding lead had not been brought out were one could get to it (just my luck) but Tornado and Solar Eagle are right as usual...
