Recovery Efficiency of AC Recovery Machine

Does any one know the method of how to measure the recovery efficieny of AC Recovery machine that is used to recovery and recharge refrigerant gas (R134 A) from the car ac system.

Efficiency = 100% multiplied by (mass recoverable minus mass wasted) divided by mass recoverable?

I don't think you can ever know the efficiency for sure, because it's only part of a system....The other part being human and variable...

Dear Guys,

Some of the manufacturers of the AC Recovery machine give their specification as 95% recovery efficiency.

I want to know the method in which they measure this efficiency.

Design certified by UL to meet SAEJ-1770

They paid underwriters laboratory to certify that the machine is capable of 95% efficiency when operated according to recommended methods...

With computer operated charging capability, coupled with chip with manufacturers actual charge required, they have removed all the guesswork...
