Interference On Plasma TV

Have bought a 2nd hand LG plasma tv - 42PC1RV, it seems to suffer from what looks like interference in the form of what an analogue tv would suffer from if it had low signal level (slightly snowy picture, more noticable on darker areas of the screen). I live in Spain, getting tv through a sky digibox. The problem is not only apparent through the digibox, but also when playing dvd's or through an HDMI lead. Have put an old QED interference suppressor on the mains input but no change, any ideas?

I thought that the suggestion of contacting LG was a good idea.

As a start, perhaps review the manual. This site has a Spanish version available.
