Interesting... I wonder if the claim holds up after the 'first compression' test, as described in the article. The article suggests that the material was somewhat deformed in the first compression but not afterwards in subsequent compressions.

Question is, how does the 'lowest density' claim stack up for the reduced volume of the 'compressed' (and thereby stabilized) test piece ?
