it is not a pumped storage, rather a stage 2 hydro plant that uses the flow from stage 1 hydro power plant + a small amount of additional water from another river. The stage 1 is a reservoir type plant with seasonal peaking. Stage 1 is of 60 MW and stage 2 is of 32 MW.

Please first explain your plans.

What type is the first stage.?

What type is planned for the second stage?

Has the flow in the river been diverted?

What is the static head available there?

in general one cannot use the static available to the first stage (Gross head) for calculating the second stage.
