Your setting of the the mccb depends on the load current and the factor k which is dependent on the cable sizing of your installation. Short circuit current = rated load current multiplied by the factor k.When you know the size of cable used for the installation,check your table for the right k value.We have 1.0,1.5,1.8,2.5,3.5 etc based on the size of cable in the installation.

set or adjust the mccb short circuit current to the calculated value to trip your load or installation from the damaging effect of short circuit fault.If the mccb has no selectable ranges,the buy one with the exact value in the market to protect your load.
