In Need of a Friend

12/06/2011 11:04 PM

My best friend died a short time ago and now im very lonely, I never knew how much he mattered to me.Im having a hard time eating and sleeping now, and the days seem to never end,im starting to get depressed and don't want to do anything except sleep.I almost forgot to tell you,his name was Fluke and he was a Labadore retreiver and mine name is Lexi.He was alot smaller then I but it didn't matter, because I can get alone with anyone. My next friend I would like to have is a Bull Mastiff. oh i get along with them also because in our house we had Buddy which was a nice guy, and we also played together. Im getting kind of old and I sure would like to meet and hang around / play / show him the ropes around here in the country. Our masters are very nice to us, and we have trained them well. They buy us what ever we want,of course were spoiled, but we share.

If you know of a human that has a Bull Mastiff ,prefer a puppy... that would like to see him/her get a very nice home in--- ct --- just let me know. Ill even send you up one of my favorite bones.

Thank you

Lexi.........I have such a hard time typing with my paws.

surround yourself with supportive people. support groups are very effective when you are overwhelmed from personal tragedies. you should seek professional help also. the correct medication will enable you to put things into prospective while you recover. you have asked for help. that is the first step to healing. don't assume your emotional problems will go away with time. some people never recovery without help. no one deserves to go though life being depressed or worse. please get help as soon as possible. i've seen too many lives destroyed because they did'nt get the help they needed.

your next step should be going to a hospital that can correctly diagnois and treat your symtoms. you'll feel like new person in just a matter days. feel free to contact me. i'll be praying for you

Three scopes of Alpo with some warm milk on top (sounds awlful) will help cheer her/him up.

LXI or lexi is part of the 8080 command set and it means move the contents of the L register to the X register immediately

Hiding them in words or punctuation isn't compulsory....you can have them typed out and be linked....

I'm just too lazy to copy, open a new tab paste and hit return....

Strange...I'm not the first to pick up someone on linking, and I've done it far more politely than some I've seen, yet you're peeved <sigh>

Making links work is a pain here.

Last time I tried to introduce some hyperlinking elegance, everything other than what I wanted to be the blue bit turned blue....

Then there's the paragraphing ceremony. No WYSIWYG here. Even longer "sigh" from me,, and italics are in the same boat. Yeh.....

Re: In need of a Friend

I've never had a problem. This is what I do:

  1. Type required text
  2. Highlight bit I want to link
  3. Click the link button and add the URL using c'n'p

I do a similar thing with all the other formatting; the trick is to do all the typing first. I agree it's not WYSIWYG, and the functionality isn't what we're used to in Word, but it's ok.

I know other members type into a word processor first and then c'n'p....

Shift+Return gives single spacing (HTH)

Dogs dont have support groups....unfortunately. Try chasing your tail to take your mind off things. Good luck finding a new friend....poor little guy.

Are looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend?

(sorry about the human terms, but they get a bit sensitive around here)

We never had a problem with all-female dog "flocks". Most at one time was three.

Good luck with the hunt!

I assume that English is not your first language, or you'd realise that "bitch" is just the technical term for a female dog, like "queen" is just the technical term for a female cat.

I think you'll find that dogs, in common with most (that is not all) lifeforms on this planet, are supposed to have both male and female individuals....

Hope that helped....

Look at my lovely dog, I lost her 5 years back. Had same sleepless nights like you. It is really painful to loose such a nice pet. Only time can cure you.
