Imperial unit dimensions (feet, pounds, seconds) [hard to say why seconds applies].

They're probably banned in France. Just make sure not to mix 2" x 4" x 12" bricks with 50mm x 100mm x 300mm bricks, because all the mortar calcs will be off.
