Servo Upgrade

12/13/2011 11:31 AM

Good morning all:

We have a BROTHER CNC Drilling Center which vertical axis servomotor got damaged, it is obsolete and the manufacturer doesn't have a direct replacement, so we bought the whole servo system from them: Drive, motor, cables and interface I/O board.

I've got the new system up and running but I cannot install it on the machine because the CNC doesn't have any schematics and I need to figure the I/O connections of the old Velconic RAD10-006 in order to put the new Velconic VLASV-012P2-HX in place. Does anyone have any manuals for the old Velconic RAD10-006 ?

Thank you in advance for your valuable help.

Wow ! lots of informative threads, eventhough there is no information on RA drives, I'll certainly add this to my favorites... for future strugles.

Thanks
