WHAT IS THE PRESSURE VARIATION DUE TO WATER LEVEL CHANGE IN A OVER HEAD TANK.

AS PER MY UNDERSTANDING, AS THE WATER LEVEL COMES DOWN IN THE TANK, THE WATER PRESSURE SHOULD INCREASE.

BUT, AS THE WATER LEVEL COMES DOWN IN THE TANK, THE WEIGHT OF WATER IS DECREASED AND THE WATER PRESSURE IN PIPES SHOULD ALSO COMES DOWN.

As the level decreases, so proportionally does the pressure; 1 psi ≈ 2.31 feet of level change (and similarly for other units).

BTW, ditch the all-caps.

You have answered the question already. The hydrostatic pressure is dependant on the column of water above it. Less weight of water above means less pressure. About 10m head will give one atmosphere change in pressure as an estimate if you want.

Where P is pressure, ρ is the density of the liquid, g is the acceleration due to gravity and h is the depth below the surface.
