Porocity Control of Lead

How can we control porocity of lead (for lead acid batteries)?

It depends if you want it porous or non porous.
If you want non porous then whack it with a hammer

The lead plates in batteries is made porous to increase surface area.

Are you making batteries?

Having a problem controlling the porosity when making the plates?

What is your process?

yea i making plates for lead acid battries.......bt i want to know the effect of porousity on life of battery,,,,,,plz revert if u can help?

Porousity directly affect the performance of the life of battery by increasing the internal resistance of cells.
