Dehydration of Transformer

dear sir,

i have a 250 kva transformer. it has covered it's 6 years working days. i want to know about dehydration of transformer i mean what is the schedule for dehydration of transformer. can i do dehydration on my transformer ?

i have heard that regular heating and cooling warms up winding of transformer and dehydration can harm varnish and may cause internal short ckt.

For the record, dehydration is the removal of water from an object. You seem to mis-understand the definition. Or, maybe I mis-understand you.
