Zelio Logic - Programmable relays

12/23/2011 10:03 PM

I am having problems communication between my pc and the relay I think it is because I have a 64 bit operating system and the usb driver is for a 32 bit. I have tryed to find a driver that will work with no luck Also called schneider elect. but the guy I talked with said he didn't know anything about the softwear and because it was christmass there wasn't anyone around. Dose any one know how to get the pc and relay talking?

Primarily you need to supply proper infos here:-

1) Exact make, model age of PC.

2) Exact details of which OS you are using and anything else you feel is relevant, the relay card type etc..

Till you have done that, NOBODy can help you.

The last time I heard the name Schneider on a PC it was a DOS based German machine......If it is one of those, a) they don't support 64 bit software b) no USB!!!

Have you looked to see what USB drivers are available for your particular (still unknown) PC? A 64 bit driver should do it really......

We had the same situation here with the I/A and Andover line when we went to the new windows 7 machines. You will need to call Schneider and ask them (slight cost) for the JAR file upgrade required for 7 to communicate with their drives and relays since Schneider has not made the total jump to 7 as of yet.

Have you tried XP Mode in Windows 7. It is a major b!!!?ch to get it done, but if you Google "XP Mode Windows 7", you should find instructions on doing it.

I was able to connect an Altronic compressor control module using XP Mode for the USB port.

Good Luck, VM.
