Secondary Injection Test of Numerical Protection Relay

respected sir, Happy xmas to all secondary injection test of numerical relay with test kit(like omicron, maggar,etc) which test should be done and what is the fundamental of choosing phase angle between I1,I2,I3, and V1,V2,V3. How stability,pickup and other tests perform.please guide me or give some link to learn this. thanks

Questions should be specific:

Relay:

For balanced system:

I(R) + I(Y) + I(B) = 0 , Ø = 0 ; for no earth fault (E/F) condition

and

I(R) + I(Y) + I(B) ≠ 0 , Ø ≠ 0 ; i, flows for earth fault (E/F).

I(R) = I in R-Phase or I1 (as mentioned by the original poster above)

and so on.........

This is for Over Current Relays and not differential relays. There are two methods, one primary injection and the second secondary injection method for CT testing.
