Is there a way to you verify busway is size properly from a power riser diagram?

They should give the short circuit level and connected load to calculate.

Okay. so a 2000A busway should be equal or greater than the some of the total amperage feeding of that busway?

Verifying the bus way size is not possible from a power raiser diagram as such a power raiser diagram would only be a GA (General Arrangement) drawing. You at at least need an SLD (Single Line Diagram) for the same.

Search for "conductor size selection" on the internet.

There is as little or as much knowledge as you need there including selection criteria, practical considerations, procedures and standard tables.

Lots of holiday reading....
