Dear Mr. Chinmaya, Pl. understand that I am working as a training manager at the training centre of a leading switchgear manufacturer in India. I am bound by the rules of the organisation and I cannot just like that circulate training materials. My organisation charges (of course, very nominally) for these training programmes.

But, many of the participants of my training programmes have already uploaded many of my training presentations (like the ones on earthing, the one on Capacitors with DG Sets, many on LV Switchgear, etc.) so that it is open to the public as the one in this case. May be, you may try browsing the net. Else, if you are from India, you may try attending to our training programmes, wherein you can get to gain much more than simple powerpoint presentations.

Kindly tell me one thing sir, What I got to know from the presentation whether for any KW rating motor Delta & Main contactor will be 1/√3 times of the Full load current of the motor & Star will be 1/3 times of the same. Is it correct. Ofcourse if the current & the contactor rating are same then next higher size has to be taken.

The most convenient and reliable method is to refer manufacturer's catalogs like ABB, Telemecanique,Siemens,GE,Schneider etc
