Thread Rolling Diameters?

What is the turning dia for M20 x 2.5 mm & M24x 3.0 mm threads. Send me formula to calculate base dia. for thread rolling.

Given the outer diameter, the thread pitch and the thread tooth angle, the rest responds to a bit of trigonometry.

You are talking apples and oranges. You asked for "turning diameter" as though you are cutting, then base diameter for rolling.

Cut threads normally will be the same dia. as the base stock (20mm & 24mm). Rolled threads will require a smaller dia. base stock, because the threads are formed by upsetting the material. The starting dia also depends on the base materials malleability.
