When did the call go in to Jenbacher's local technical helpline and why was the advice received deemed so insufficiently valid as to warrant a posting on CR4 for random contributions from anonymous global contributors?

Is this thing still under warranty?

I can jokingly fill here:

@ Can we use this shaft after repair: If you repair it properly yes, but no warranty will be given as how long, you can also use as fencepost or to weigh down news papers.

@ Replace the shaft with new one. Is a very good idea!

@ Repair facilities: in your area! If for some reasons there are none in your area it might be possible they are somewhere else. Very possible is that we don't know where you are so we can not tell you. I would not try a bakers shop or anything similar. It aint work!
