Summation Metering

Dear All, in my construction site in UP (East), we have a 33 KV substation that is fed from two 33 KV feeders from two different 132/33 KV substations. The power supply company wants us to install sommation meter at our 33 KV sustation. since the sanctioned Load for us is 4 MVA, computing max demand in real time is the problem. I want to know if there is a system by which this can be done. One meter manufacturing co claims it has a solution, i want to make sure before we make a purchase for this meter. I'm sure if one company makes what you require there will be others. Dear Kssoin,

Why your 33Kv substation(capacity 4 MVA) is fed from two different 132/33 Kv substation by two nos 33Kv feeders? If the purpose is to keep one 33 Kv feeder as standby, then you may go for individual meter.Even circuit arrangement can be done so that load flow thro' any feeder can be measured thro' one single meter and load flow thro' both the feeders can be measured thro' the same meter and in this case summation meter is required. In India, there are many manufacturer of this type of meter(summation meter)
