Possibly, but then where do you get the recipe? Cad/cam for mass production?

Find one that works, take it apart, do a 3-d scan of the parts, make any changes, run prototype, test and evaluation, go into limited production run, get feedback, go forward...

Do a google search for prototyping services in your area. You may even find an innovators group that has, or can help you out with access to a 3D printer.

It's relatively cheap.

If you plan on patenting your device, run off some copies of an NDA, (Nondisclosure agreement), before you show it to anyone. Available on the internet.

Once you have a prototype that works, you have your molding design to make millions of them.

You can consider polyurethane casting - i.e. rapid prototype a master, make a silicone negative, fill the negative with urithane resin and wait for it to set - apparently you can get about 50 units from such a mould. Drop me a line if you'll like some help with the CAD work.

The optimum would ofcourse be to find a standard housing to fit your components (RS components?)
