Please let me know the uncertainities involved when one load cell is calibrated with another, more accurate load cell?

You should be calibrating with known-value certified actual weights.

Although you will get valuable and useful information while exploring questions like this within the CR4 forum, it will tend to be time consuming to obtain and segmented.

Conducting a google search "load cell calibration +uncertainty" is a fine way to quickly obtain a wide variety of information, that after evaluating them can lead to very specific questions to pose here.

The first uncertainty is the one of the reference cell.

The second is the uncertainty of the calibration itself as process.

If you consider that no interference between the 2 occurs and if you assume a normal error distribution the resulting uncertainty will be the sqrroot of the squares sum.

In fact it is more complex but this can already give you a direction. It is in general considered that such a reference calibration increases the uncertainty with a factor of 10.

Your question should have been - What is the Standard for Load-Cell Calibration.?

I am also intrested to know.

There is an ISO standard for LC calibration which you can find by simply asking google or you home standard organisation. If you are interested in a standard it is usual to ask first the own country organisation which will be glad to supply the information.

Which are the other uncertainties ?

There is also a further uncertainty parameter missed by others in that this sounds like a homework question.

As others have said try an internet search, as there is plenty of information on the subject.
