Koken Barber Chair Hydraulics

I am working on restoring this koken chair. Does the bottom cap on the hydrolic system have threads and able to be unscrewed? How does this cap come off?

This is very helpful, the only issue is that even Zooming in 500% it's still illegible. Any ideas how/Where I can get a copy of this? I've googled it but so far this picture is the only option.
