I am losing contacts on my contact list ? Have been for some time . These are contacts I use fairly often. Has anyone else experienced this ?

Have not had this problem - ever.

I have 3 contact directories and sometimes when in a hurry, I don't pay attention to where I save to and it appears to be lost but I eventually find it.

Are you using one directory or multiple directories?

Only other suggestion is back-up your contacts to a disk, un-install, then reinstall Outlook and then download your contacts from the back-up disk you made.

Do you share your contacts folder with anyone else?

Will be interesting to see what others come up with.

Sounds like a Trojan to me.

I recently got an I Phone in October 2011 and I have this tied into my e mail. I dont know if this is the issue, but I do know that I havent deleted any contacts on my phone that have been deleted of my contact list.

I discovered the contacts that I lost on my lap top address book are ones that were also on my I Phone but these contacts were ones that were listed twice on my phone because I had them on my Blackberry previously. When I tied the I phone into my laptop I had duplications on my I Phone with limited info so I deleted these duplications. When I deleted the duplication on my I Phone this action deleted the contact on my lap top.

that would make sense if you are synchronizing your phone and computer. I usually turn my sync off so that wont happen.

Yes, I am not sure why but people started not getting my emails when I used the outlook express. We never did figure it out. I upgraded to windows 7 and got live mail and all that had stopped receiving before are now receiving.

It was if they were being blocked. But like I said we never did figure it out. especially those using verizon internet service
