Bonding Different Earthing Systems

04/02/2012 8:34 AM

Generally we have the following earthing systems in an industrial installation each having its own earth electrode/s:

1. Sytem neutral earth

2. Equipotential bonding earth

3. Lightening protection earth

4. Static grounding sytem

5. Maintenance grounding system

6. Electronic grounding systems.

My question is should all the earth rods of these systems must be bonded together. If so as per which code. Kindly provide the reference of the code.

Thanks for your response. I lookedup NEC and could not find the required information. Could you give specific clause of any of these standards which provides the required info.
