  • Manufacturer?
  • Model number?
  • Rating?
  • Availability of manufacturer's information?
  • Availability of facility's standard drawings - is this 're-inventing the wheel'?
  • Etc.

You should have received a wiring diagram along with the MCCB ? Each manufacturer has his own way of wiring, so one can't generalise.

In general, there needs to be a two-position selector switch for Auto / Manual selection. Only one mode of operation possible, since the selector switch will stay put in one position only.

The charging mechanism will have a freewheeling clutch in it somewhere, so that overcharging is not possible. There will also be a microswitch to cut off supply to the motor when charging is complete.

So, you see, it is quite complex and you need to scrupulously follow the wiring diagram.

There are two types of motorised MCCBs in the market.

Stored energy system

Direct drive system

wiring diagrams and operational philosphy will vary with the system

Also different manufacturers have different wiring diagrams.

Please get the details from MCCB supplier.

Further you may additionally require Auto/manual selector switch,ON Push button,OFF Pushbutton.

Once you get the wiring diagram,if you still require any help ,you may contact us with the wiring diagram.

Generally the wiring diagram comes with the MCCB

Since you have two incomers and one bus coupler the MCCBs should have auxiliary contacts. These auxiliary contacts may not be adquate for interlocking, therefore you may also require additional auxiliary control contactor with 4 NO+4NC combination.

Based on the questions you ask I would think that the best push buttons you can use are those on your phone. You can get someone who knows what they are doing - if you mess with something like this you can do a lot of harm if you get it wrong.

_ Use the phone - it could be a lot cheaper than you think.
