I have absolutely no experience with satellite receivers but I'm going to hazard a guess.

Your satellite dish has shifted position or elevation.

Other than that, I'd advise you to consult your friendly neighborhood technician.

I'm pretty sure it's because your satellite has been destroyed by a comet. Or else you've bumped your dish. Or maybe lightning blew out your receiver. Have you tried calling a technician?

high wind can knock out a dish's alignment very easily-has happen to me on several occasions to both 8'-10' and now the small dishes. Realign !!!!!

If the dish is in perfect alignment, then it sounds like the LNB is bad. The LNB is the device that is on the end of the arm that aims towards the center of the dish. Without this device functioning, you will not receive any signal. You can get a replacement LNB at RadioShack, ADI or your satellite provider. A few screws and one or two coax connectors, the LNB comes right out.

Good Luck!

Jeff

If the satellite list is empty that likely means your descramble card module has failed. Try to reinitialize the system, pull the power off for 3 minutes and start over. Sometimes lightning and voltage surges on the AC or phone line can zap the receiver/descrambler module.
