Level Switch

Is level Switch is NC contact type or NO contact type?

I'm very much confusing for this.

Most level switches I have used come with both a NC and a NO terminal - which you use depends on your desired operation.

...it also depends upon whatever is 'normal' in the process. A low level switch will be normal above the trip point. A high level switch will be normal below the trip point. Both devices could be the same switch assembly. So it's the process conditions that determine normal.
