Cement Bond Sand (CBS)

Hi

The Cement Bond Sand(CBS) help in increasing the Thermal Resistivity of the Underground Cable so that the cable can able to carry the maximum load(say if conductor designed for 1000A, this CBS help in carrying the same range in the area of poor Thermal Resistivity).

This CBS will be applied above the cable after taping. Will any one have the proper idea or Technique "How to remove the CBS from the above surface of the cable?"
