Why GT Star Point Not Earthed via NGT/NGR?

HEllo all, sirs, i want 2 know that why star point of GT(STEP UP X'MER) is not earthed via NGT/NGR and direct earthed to ground,when UAT(unit Aux. X'mer) and generator star point are always earthed via NGT/NGR in generating power station? with regard,thanks in advance yk.

Well, the design documentation will show why. At this distance and without having access to it, one possibility is that the prospective fault current is insufficiently high to warrant their inclusion.
