Phase Sequence Checking Before Synchronize

In my ship i fit 400kw stamford alternator after rewinding stator.Now i planned to start and syncbronze with same model anotherone generator.how to check the phase sequence before synchronizing .

Try a phase sequence indicator.

Use a synchroscope. <edit> As in #1↑.
