Data/Spec Sheet for RS 258-508

G'day,

I have a RS 258-508 LED Digital panel meter that has no documentation - the meter was disconected by some else and it was part of piece of equipment that has been scrapped - We may have a use for the meter but don't have enough information to hook it to test it. (Some of the connectors have been tied together.) Have tried RS site and either looking in wrong place or they don't carry info any more. (Also tried web searches again to no avail)

I couldn't find anything either. Hey, take some pics of the meter - front and back and post them here. That may give us something to go on.

Have you tried mailing RS to see if they have data for a discontinued product?

Surely RS Components may have Application Note/ data sheet.

I am cutoff for some time but had been using their Datasheet library kept update by the firm i used to contact.

And RS supplied one copy to the purchaser if included in demand

Its the simple things that one forgets sometimes - I didn't think to email RS - did just about everything else.

I tried to take a picture of the unit - unfortunately either my camera skills are zero or the camera isn't suitable for the task.

The table is the pin outs (obviously).

The pins tied have been done for its previous life.

I am at that point where I'm ready to hook 240Vs to it and see if it lights up or lets the smoke out

I've just looked in a '99 RS catalogue and its not in there.

It looks as if its one of the DPM's they did that were branded 'RS' and no manufacturer given... I did find a few other DPMs with the 258- part number and they are all of the DIN case style. Probably very similar.
