Electrical Contactor Coil Question

Apply appropriate electrical power to appropriate contacts to, "activate the contacter coil".

Take one apart and count the internal parts. See if you can determine the function of each part.

If not, take a picture of it and post it here.

How many parts are in the coil? 2: the coil which is a coil of wire, and the bobbin, which holds the coil. 4 if you count the two terminals at the end of the coil wires, but that is not always there, some coils don't provide terminations, just bare wires.
