Earthing Specification

what are the earthing specifications to be followed while doing earthing in a power plant and how is earth resistance calculated?

The specifications will be those applicable to the country of installation: British Standard 7671, Indian Standard 3043, etc., etc.

i) The earthing specifications to be followed depends upon the Local Codes.

ii) There are precise formulae available in the Standards (IS 3043, etc.) to calculate the theoratical value of earth resistance for a given type & size of earthe electrode.
