Weight of Pipe

i want to know the weight of pipe , elbow ,tee & plate i fornmula plz tell me .. thnx..

no formula, with the exception of standard mass.

I have used Engineering power tools. its listed under materials, Pipe and Tubing. Its been pretty useful, see example

then theres this app for fittings.

Total volume of pipe, elbow, tee & plate X density of material will give you the weight.

Or, go to a suppliers web site and search for it.

Many many many manufacturers have standardized tables listing exactly what you seek. For pipe, there are calculators online that will determine the weight per unit length (see the comments of others above), BUT you cannot use them to calculate the weight of pipe fittings.

The second link for the app I had in my first post does have weights of fittings as well as valves, thou not complete. It is handy at times, having most of the information in one database
