Why Choke Required for AC Drive?

Hai

My ques is why required 110KW AC drive incoming and out going choke.

They are a low-pass filters. They make sure that the high frequencies generated within the drive stay in the drive.

Given http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/79624/Laying-of-cable-reg, is the drive CE-marked by the manufacturer? Are the chokes inside the drive itself?
