As far away as is practicable except where they cross, which should be at right angles.

  • Are the analog and communication cables of correct construction, i.e. screened?
  • Do the analog and communication cables carry current signals to enhance immunity from interference?
  • Are the screens of the analog and communication cables earthed at one end only where practicable?
  • Is the drive power cable screened and the screen tied to the power earth?
  • Is the drive CE-marked by the manufacturer?
  • Are the analog and communication cables connected to a separate "clean earth" instead of the main power earth?

Please respond.
