Tonnage That U.S. Baird Multi-slides Can Handle?

Augie Ruiz machines do wire forming none of them have a stamping area nor does he do any stamping .So he did not know the answer. I'm still searching for the answer if anyone else has an idea please let me know and thank you for the help

We have US Baird/ Rockwell 35 and 28 of various vintages.

The 35 has a standard press station of 25 tons and a special heavy duty of 40 tons but they are unusual and rarely available. You can apply up to 3 press stations on the 35 and use opposing wedges at progressive timing to accumulate tonnage. Slide tonnage is theoretically 7 tons but 5 maximum is advisable, especially left hand slide.

28 machine press stations are 15 max down to 12 tons (age related) and slides max 1 ton.

There are many accessories to add to the rear of the die bolster to add further facility/ tonnage. We have some spare accessories and bolsters that may assist if you need them.
