My recommendation would be to download a PDF viewer.

I like Foxit Reader or Adobe Reader

You may want to consider a different browser. I use Windows XP and finally gave up on IE. I'm trying Google Chrome but there are others: Firefox, Opera, and Safari are popular.

Is it trying to download the PDF file to the computer (for later access) or open it up immediately (fail, then crash)?

Do you have the latest (free) updates for Internet explorer and Adobe reader? Try updating these programs first and let us know if that fixed the problem.

I've made a habit of right-clicking on pdf files (and for most links in websites) and then selecting the 'open in a new tab' option. That way if the linked item doesn't load properly or takes forever to load, I can click the X block to close that tab and continue browsing in the main window.

And yes, make sure you have the latest acrobat reader for pdf files:

Hi, AA309.

I am using another manual PDF reader instead of Adobe's products. I have never come across such a problem. Btw, have you ever found out the solution? Good luck.

Best regards,

Arron
