The Standard IS 3043 does not differentiate between a neutral earthing conductor and a body earthing conductor. As per the Standard, the formula for sizing earthing conductors & protective conductors is:
S = I Root 't' / K
where,
S is the cross sectional area of the protective conductor in sq.mm
I is the fault current is Amperes
t is the fault duration in seconds
K is the Adiabatic Constant depending upon the Material of the conductor, method of laying, etc. (given vide Table 6 of IS 3043).
By the by do not refer to IS 3043-1965.
This has been revised in 1987 and amended latest in january 2010.
You should do you're own research. You will learn so much more that constantly coming to CR4 to be given the answers. But you have been told this before.
