In your Main Distribution Panel, is there provision to connect, six numbers of 3.5c X 300 mm2 cables? Do you get the drift of the hint?

May be the spec is like 6 X 3.5C X 300mm2 . if , it is , then normally it is treated like 6 runs of 3.5 core 300mm2 cable. But , then again , you can always ask ur consultant .

Yes ofcourse,it is 6 x 3.5c x 300 mm.sq.But once again what is meant by 6 runs,because there is one more cable with 8 x 3.5c x 300 mm.sq size.

The number of runs is the number of discrete cables of the specified type configured in parallel. Don't take this thread's word for it, though. Telephone the consultant instead.

The single cable is a grounding cable; note the G/Y color. The other six cables are in parallel; each of the them has three line conductors plus a smaller sized neutral.

Why not ask your consultant?

Re: Cable Size

It is a bunch of 6 cables, each cable has a cross-sectional area of 3.5mm2.The overall cross sectional area of the cable bunch is 300mm2

The actual current carrying capacity of the CABLE CAN ONLY be determined from MANUFACTURER'S TABLES.

Note that the current rating will depend very much on the AMBIENT TEMPERATURE of your locality.
