"Waving bye bye to eddie"!

Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.....

FYI, many engineers and techs in here a extremely experienced, and most are retired.

Obviously, you aren't an engineer.

Enough said.

Don't worry about eddie. He's gonna become a gazillionaire selling his attic turbine electricity generators on ebay at $1500 each.

Having nearly 40 years of engineering experience in 3 industrial sectors and being currently 'semi-retired' (though not totally by my choice), I'll take it that your arrow is aimed partially at me. Also, I'll assume that it's due to your treatment regarding your recently announced home wind generator. BTW, accept my sympathies for the hardship you are going through.

I'll give one example of my experience that causes me to doubtclosely examine proposals. Early on, the plant I work at needed additional capacity from an old, large cooling tower. A cooling tower contractor guaranteed that replacing the wood fill with high-efficiency PVC would provide the needed capacity. Hidden in the terms was the condition that the air flow remain the same. Known to him, but missed by us, was the fact that the new fill would have more resistance to air flow. We couldn't recoup the air flow without expanding our electrical substation. So, in the end, we spent several hundred thousand dollars for nothing.

Although non-engineers sometimes come up with good, workable ideas, they also often have ideas that look good on the surface, but violate basic scientific principles. A good engineer can subject these to a 'sanity check' to see if they are theoretically possible before proceeding to the practical issues.

If the truth hurts, maybe it should.

I'm sure that if you don't already know, having a patent granted to you in no way protects you from infringement.

Goodbye, i am finished eddie.

VERY TRUE, MY ATTORNEY AN I ARE WATCHING MOST EVERYTHING, IT CANNOT BE COPIED AS NO ONE HAS IT. AND CANNOT GET MOST OF THE PARTS, I AM JUST ASSEMBLING THE ITEMS TO MAKE THE UNITS. IF SOMEONE WANTS TO TRY I GIVE THEM A LOTS OF LUCK.

What's the patent number? If it's been issued, you're as protected as best as you will ever be.

Your assumption that it can't be copied is wishful thinking, at best.

I wish you all the best luck, but remember, you aren't the first and will not be the last to be subjected to a group of critical thinkers who want proof that something works as advertised and not just by the inventor's wishful thinking that it will be so.

Have you asked your lawyer how much it will cost to defend your patent in court?

Regardless of all other points raised by others (which I am ignoring for the moment) you cannot legally install these attic vent wind generators in the US if they are fitted with plug and cord sets instead of designed for fixed wiring installations.

You and your attorney need to re-read the electrical standards again before you try and sell these as they are potentially lethal.

Engineers with hands-on experience can work(even at home)until death. Some good engineers do design/consultancy/testing etc after retirement.
