05/22/2007 4:03 AM

Hi Everyone

I Need a Good Internet Advice for some kind of Tutorials about new electronics. Is there a site where I can learn the basics of radio control (receiver and the control)?

Any Ideas?

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Hi Bishi,

I would start at my local model shop, they will probably know of local groups of radio control enthusiasts

Hi

Yes that is through, but not where i am living. I live in Denmark/Aarhus(Second largest City of Denmark(Population around 200000).

One Hobby shop, and he has nearly nothing. Every time i need something from him, i have to wait for ...., if i am lucky to get it at all...

This is Not Emerica(hihi).

anyway. Its a nice city but needs some life pust into it.

is there anything on the net that you might know?

Thank you for your respond...

Bishi

I think these should do you for you. Next time your stuck on something try googling the subject followed by FAQ ie "radio control faq"

http://www.rcfaq.com/

http://www.drones.com/RC-faq.html

http://rcvehicles.about.com/

These were the first three results from the above query and all look like they have the kind of information you require.

Hi Bishi:

Have you thought about opening a model shop that DOES have everything?

you may purchase from amazon or other web site.

you need a transimmiter, a encoder which accord to certain protocol of communication. a reciever and a decorder. then a power driver. enough.

Hobby Radio Control stuff varies from the very simple to some pretty advanced stuff. But it all comes down to one-way communication of [generally] a position on a scale of 0 to 256. The position is most commonly transmitted using pulse-width modulation...multiple positions (channels) each take their turn in the signal.

All of this pulse width mumbo-jumbo doesn't really matter if you're using standard RC parts and not doing anything fancy. There are a lot of other wireless standards out there that work very well if you want two way or communication of some info other than a very elementary PWM signal. This can include bluetooth, piggybacking on cellular signals (sending data instead of a voice) or custom protocols that could be sent over the appropriate radio signal. Sticking to the standards though is much easier.
